Project W.A.R.M.T.H

The SDC’s Project W.A.R.M.T.H main objective is to establish energy assistance alternatives for low-income consumers. Sadly, too many people who live in poverty must face the terrifying choice of paying rent, buying groceries, or paying the utilities.

Thank you to the partners and supporters of Project W.A.R.M.T.H. In order to provide access to adequate, affordable energy as a basic necessity, the SDC is a Steering Committee member with the Low-Income Energy Network (LIEN) a non-profit network that “works to address the energy needs of Ontario’s low-income households”.

The SDG Community Gardening Network

The SDG Community Gardening Network is an online hub to link gardeners with community members who have land available for gardening, and gardeners and volunteers to existing community gardens in Stormont-Dundas-Glengarry Counties.

Are you interested in beginning a garden or looking to join an existing one? Would you like to donate your time and/or resources toward a community garden project in your area?

You can join! If you have land that can be used for a garden project or are part of a community garden that isn’t listed above, we’d love to hear from you! Get in touch with us by e-mailing info(at)allthingsfoodbouffe360.ca or by phoning 514-944-7152.
